Job description

Provide support to Chief Accountant in coordinate and supervise all accounting activities in the company.


Responsibilities

  • Organizes, guides, leads, controls and is responsible for the efficient development of the financial-accounting activity of the company in accordance with the legal provisions in force.
  • Supervises and participates in the preparation of monthly financial statements and financial reports.
  • Proactively performs preventive quality controls and initiates corrective actions when necessary.
  • Performing monthly closing of statutory books and submitting statutory financials statements to local authorities
  • Prepare financial statements VAT declaration, corporate income tax returns, statements, other declaration/reports for local tax authorities.
  • Ensures the timely fulfillment of the company's obligations towards the state budget and third parties in accordance with the legal provisions in force.
  • Informed about all new financial and tax related regulations.
  • Performs various reports, financial, fiscal, declarations, in relation with Group Companies.
  • Fulfils also other professional tasks in direct relation with the activity provided in the company, upon the request of line manager.
  • Cooperate with external parties (banks, leasing, statistic etc), tax authorities, auditors.
  • Preparation of external audit and external financial reports.
  • Manages the deployment and maintenance of new accounting, inventory, receivables, and other related procedures and controls.

Job requirements

  • 5+ years' of experience in a similar role or in a senior financial leadership position;
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience
  • Understanding of tax regulations and compliance.
  • Very good professional financial-accounting and legislative knowledge.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Knowledge of SAP.
  • Experienced user of Excel is a must.
  • Advanced computer skills.
