Job description
In this position, you'll be responsible for:
- Ensure the collaboration with the Sales & Commercial Departments providing in-depth legal advice during negotiation process and reviewing the commercial contracts with Company`s clients and suppliers (i.e. sale-purchase for selling goods, distribution agreement).
- Draft, review and approve other type of contracts as per the Company business needs (i.e. lease, procurement contracts), as well as other company documents needed to carry on the day-to day activity);
- Legal marketing activities:
- Review and approve of marketing campaigns regulations;
- Ensure the compliance with the consumer protection legislation and other relevant legal provisions related to any trade programs activities, including product launches and campaign visuals content;
- Actively cooperate with Group Legal & Governance Department as well as with any other functions at Group Level in order define and implement the country agenda and priorities;
- Corporate governance activities:
- ensuring the compliance with all statutory requirements of the Company in accordance with the articles of association and the applicable law;
- provide legal advice for effective deployment within the Company all corporate and compliance processes as per the EU and the Romanian law, as well as set forth at Group level such as: Whistleblowing policy, ESG – environmental, social, governance as any other sustainability related topics, DRS -deposit return system etc.
- ensuring the compliance of the working units with the Trade Registry requirements and any other public authorities (Consumer protection, City hall, Sanitary etc.)
- Issuing legal newsletters design to inform Company`s departments regarding the newest legal changes and their impact on day-to day business (i.e. amendments on consumer protection law, competition law, labor law);
- Ensuring the collaboration with the external business partners (i.e. law firms, public notary etc.) in order to deliver in-time and accurate legal documentation needed in relationship with authorities and internal stakeholders;
Job requirements
• University degree in Law;
• At least 2 year experience in legal activity (such as corporate governance, commercial law, legal marketing, banking law would be a plus);
• Fluent in English, spoken and written;
• Computer literacy: Word, Excel, Power Point;
• Well organized, detail and result oriented;
• Analytical thinking;
• Able to work under pressure with tight deadlines;
• Ethic attitude towards the job and the company.
