Treasury Team Leader

We are looking for a Treasury Team Leader to coordinate our treasury activities and lead a dedicated team in a dynamic, high-volume environment with a direct impact on the company's financial stability.

You will execute the treasury functions and coordinate the work of the team, ensuring the company always has adequate liquidity, well-managed funding exposure and strong banking relationships.

Responsibilities:

• Generate reports on cash operations, oversee cash transactions and ensure adequate liquidity and loan exposure in the cash management area.

• Oversee banking activities: prepare special bank reports, calculate bank indicators for dividends and manage the calculation of other bank covenants.

• Maintain bank statements, analyse bank fees and implement banking-related changes as needed.

• Take responsibility for factoring activities.

• Propose new funding opportunities and structures, including derivative structures and alternative covenant structures.

• Oversee cash management, credit administration and the administration of business insurance programs; you may also oversee aspects of stock programs.

• Oversee the Treasury team and manage its ongoing operations.

• Support your Manager in monitoring the team's performance, ensuring that rules and regulations are followed and KPIs are met.

• Plan and monitor the team's capacity and workload, and hire additional approved team members according to the anticipated workload.

• Select, develop and evaluate team members to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

• Identify improvement potential and lead the execution of process improvements.

• Create and deliver executive presentations on project status and outcomes.

• Lead cross-functional collaboration by example, create a motivating working atmosphere and actively drive change management.

• University degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or a related field;

• At least 5 years of experience in treasury, corporate finance or banking, including at least 1–2 years leading a team.

• Solid knowledge of cash management, corporate funding, bank covenants, factoring and derivative instruments.

• Experience managing banking relationships and negotiating financing terms.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Advanced Excel skills; experience with an ERP system (e.g. SAP) is an advantage.

• Fluent English, written and spoken.

• Leadership, communication and presentation skills, with a results-driven mindset and a focus on continuous process improvement.
